Hailsham school celebrates World Book Day
World Book Day was celebrated in a number of ways at Grovelands Community Primary School in Hailsham.
The children participated in many ‘bookish’ activities, including competitions to name the book title and match the author to the characters, and showed great enthusiasm in doing so.
The whole school community participated, with parents coming in to ‘Share a Book’ and older children reading to younger children in the school. The costumes that the children wore this year were spectacular!
