The Jerwood Gallery is holding a day of workshops on Saturday July 30 to coincide with its Picasso exhibition.
A children’s event runs from 11am - noon and is based around Antony Penrose’s A richly illustrated story book The Boy Who Bit Picasso. Admission is £4.50 per child (one accompanying adult per booking granted free entry).
There is an adult lecture from 3pm - 4pm and tickets for this are £10 / £8 members. Antony’s has been performed at the National Galleries of Scotland, Edinburgh and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Booking is essential as places are limited. Call 01424 728377 during gallery opening hours.
