Four people rescued after Hastings lift shut-in

A fire and rescue crew saved four people who were trapped in a lift in Hastings yesterday (Sunday, January 17).

One East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service appliance from Hastings was mobilised to the scene on Eversfield Place at around 5.45pm.

Four people were released from the lift by crews.

Firefighters left the scene at 6.05pm.
