A firm is currently offering work experience to a third job seeker as part of its support for the Own Grown campaign.

Tiger Lillies Administration Ltd, based at the 1066 Business Centre, Ashdown House, pledged to help young people into work by signing up to the initiative earlier in the year.

It offers day-to-day admin, marketing and business support to companies all across the area and beyond.

Vicki Chisholm, owner and director, said: “Pledging to Own Grown was an easy decision for me. I’m a big believer in giving back to my community, offering work experience is a great way to do this and offer a young person real experience of the workplace and a reference at the end. I had an opportunity like this when I was younger and it really made an impression on me.”

Raphael Ruefa is currently on placement with Vicki. He said: “Vicki has given me the opportunity to try out and use all sorts of skills and really showed confidence in me which has been brilliant.”
