To mark the start of the partnership, the company has donated £3,000 to the charity and staff have pledged to raise further funds throughout the coming year.

These fund-raising efforts were kicked off recently when two team members abseiled 560ft down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth and a colleague completed an Ironman 70.3 competition in Austria.

Patrick Crowe, corporate partnerships manager at the Fire Fighters Charity, added:

“Firefighters put their lives on the line for people like you and I every single day. The Fire Fighters Charity is here for all serving and retired members of the UK fire and rescue community – and their families – in their times of need. Support from individuals and corporate partners is vital in helping us carry out this work and having Cirrus’ expertise and brilliant fund-raising efforts on board is extremely valuable.”
