Fire rips through Yapton home
TWENTY firefighters tackled a blaze which badly damaged a house in Yapton last night (Friday, January 21).
Crews from Littlehampton, Arundel and Chichester, and an aerial ladder platform from Worthing, were called out to the fire in Yapton Lane, near the level crossing, at 8.17pm.
The fire affected the ground and first floors of the property, and the roof space.
Firefighters were on the scene until just after midnight.
