Fire crews tackle village barn fire
FIREFIGHTERS from Battle, Bexhill and Herstmonceux tackled a barn fire in Ashburnham on Monday (October 28).
Crews were called to Green Farm at 12.20am.
There were fears that propane cylinders stored in the barn could explode.
The incident was made even more dangerous because of high winds.
Firefighters left the scene at around 3am.
