Fire crew rescues hamster

A trapped hamster in North Bersted has been freed by firefighters.

A fire crew was called into action at about 6.45am on Saturday, April 4 to rescue the pet from the ceiling void of a house in Westfield.

They cut access holes in the void to enable the hamster to get out safety.
