Festival is sure to getfolks’ tongues wagging

UK based, spoken word poet and comedy performer, Ash Dickinson, will perform his surreal, inspiring and hilarious social-commentary as part of the spoken word, music and storytelling event, Meet of the Tongue at Robertsbridge on Friday November 7.

With Edinburgh shows to sell out audiences, Ash has also published a volume of poetry called Slinky Espadrilles.

Ash will perform at 8pm in The Ostrich pub. His show is for adults and age 15 upwards.

The evening offers opportunities to local spoken word artists, storytellers or musicians to perform alongside Ash whose imagination swings from one unpredictable world to another.

Earlier in the evening, at 6pm, Hastings-based illustrator, storyteller and musician, Ed Boxall, brings to life his latest book ‘Dolphins Keep me Safe in my Dreams’ in a magic lantern style storytelling.

This event is for aged four plus, as well as all timeless adults. The performance will last 40 minutes and include songs and interaction.

The cost on the door for Ed Boxall is £2 and £4 for the 8pm performance with Ash Dickinson.
