An appeal for food bank donations held at Butler’s Gap, in the Old Town, brought a great response from the public says ward councillor James Bacon.
He commented: “It was a huge success. I would like to say a big thank you to residents and businesses in the Old Town who helped promote this and came along to donate food and toiletries for this very worthy cause. The items we collected will go a long way in helping local people in crisis.”
