A CHARITY raised more than £2,200 at its annual Christmas fair recently.
The Sara Lee Trust, which provides complementary therapies, creative arts therapies, counselling and sanctuary days to patients living with cancer, motor neurone disease and HIV/Aids, laid on plenty of stalls for visitors selling Christmas presents and stocking fillers.
The fair was held at St John’s Church in Pevensey Road, St Leonards.
Maria Gonet, the trust’s fundraising manager, said: “The atmosphere was lovely, with lots of great stalls and we would like to thank everyone who supported the event by baking, making or donating. Thanks to all our incredible volunteers who worked so hard to make the day such a success, to St John’s Church for their warm welcome and support and to Father and Mrs Christmas for paying us a visit.
“We would like to thank everyone who attended and to all those who have supported our work and events throughout the year.”
