A PEACEHAVEN mother and her three children were shocked but uninjured after a car crashed into the wall of their home.

A Vauxhall Cavalier, believed to be stolen, collided with a Vauxhall Vectra at the junction of Roderick Avenue and Firle Road at about 11.30pm on Sunday.

The Vectra driver and two passengers were treated for minor injuries and another passenger was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, with back injuries.

The house suffered a crack to the wall and its fence was demolished. The occupants, Nicola Ducasse and her three children, aged 18, 16 and five, were shaken but uninjured.

Firefighters from Roedean and Newhaven were called to the crash scene and made safe the damaged lamp-post.
