Event for potential volunteers in Bognor

The event about helping others is being staged at the Clarence Road civic building between 11am and 4pm on Wednesday, June 4.

It will aim to recruit volunteers by showcasing the activities of voluntary groups around the Arun district and thanking existing volunteers for their selfless efforts.

Certificates will be presented to all volunteers who go along.

Arun Volunteer Centre administrator Derek Moore said: "For many of our local voluntary and community groups, volunteers are their lifeblood.

"In some cases, organisations simply wouldn't be able to function without the tireless support they receive from their volunteers."
