TICKETS are selling fast for an upcoming charity Elvis tribute gig later this month.
The fundraiser, in aid of St Leonards-based charity St Michael’s Hospice, is on Saturday, November 26 at Azur at the Marina Pavilion on the seafront.
It is being organised by the hospice with local performer, Chris Field, returning to don the rhinestones once again.
He said: “The hospice has always been a charity close to my heart, even before I lost my mother to cancer there.
“I admire the brave people who, despite everything, still have a smile on their face and determination to keep life as normal as possible. Performing as Elvis made my mum proud in her final months and I’m pleased to have the opportunity to support St Michael’s Hospice.”
Last year a similar event raised £2,250.
Tickets are available at £25 per person, in advance only, with all proceeds going to the hospice.
The evening runs from 7pm to 1am and includes a hot buffet, two sets by Elvis and requests. Call Julie Brett on 01424 456380 to book.
