The Hastings branch, at 8 York Buildings, will be opening to the public at 8am on Friday June 9, with free coffee for the first 100 customers.

The chain launched in the UK last year with just two sites in London and one in Southend-on-Sea in Essex.

However, the airline-owned chain is now expanding across the UK after receiving ‘huge interest’ from franchise investors and now plans to rival Costa Coffee and Starbucks by selling a cup of coffee for just £1.

The Hastings branch is opening its doors at 8 York Buildings.

easyCoffee CEO Nathan Lowry said: “easyCoffee has been popping up all over London with shops, pop-ups and vending machines in Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Oxford Street, Earls Court and Southend, and we are finally heading to picturesque town of Hastings.

“We are just so delighted to have such a fantastic site and cannot wait to be part of the high street! Hastings will receive our fantastic Fairtrade arabica coffee and great food items at a great price.

“We also cannot wait to serve our famous blended iced coffee frappes to those on their way to the beach this summer!”
