Dutch choir set to visit Hastings

A DUTCH choir is visiting Hastings to perform as part of a long-running twinning programme.

The 40-piece outfit will set sail from Dordrecht and arrive in 1066 Country ready for the showcase on April 7, where they will appear alongside a local jazz group.

The concert will take place at St Matthew’s Church in Silverhill, with 7.30pm pencilled in as a likely start time (to be confirmed).

Tickets cost £8 and will soon be available from the Tourist Information Centre in Priory Meadow (keep an eye on your Observer for details).

All proceeds will go to Macmillan nurses working with cancer sufferers in the local area.
