D-DAY FOR BURNER APPLICATION
The application, by Veolia Environmental Services, will be discussed at the next meeting of the council's planning committee on February 21 at 10am.
If permitted, the proposed facility would deal with just over half of all the household waste currently produced in East Sussex and Brighton & Hove.

Hide AdWaste that is not composted or recycled would be incinerated at the site and used to generate electricity to be fed into the electricity distribution network.
As usual, the meeting at County Hall, Lewes, will be broadcast live on the council's website at www.eastsussex.gov.uk/webcasts.
Members of the public are welcome to attend in person although space will be limited.
