Cuts in police station opening hours
There is now only one police station that is open 24 hours a day in the whole of Sussex- Brighton Police Station.
The move has come despite residents having doubled their share in the cost of policing in the last ten years.

Hide AdMid Sussex is one of the areas hit, with stations at Haywards Heath, East Grinstead and Burgess Hill opening from 10am -8pm from next month, instead of opening up at 8.30am.
Accountants acting for the Sussex Police force have said that shortening hours of opening for more police stations would be on the cards as part of its drive to save money.
The move has been criticised by three West Sussexs MP's Mid Sussex MP Nicholas Soames said the situation was another savage example of the Government's double speak.
