Woman kicked in groin in argument

AN argument outside a pub ended with a woman being kicked in the groin.

The attack happened outside the Cutter in East Parade just after midnight on Sunday, March 6.

The 52-year-old woman got into an altercation with a man, who police say raised his fists before kicking her in the groin.

She was left in pain and suffered bruising.

Her attacker then got into a taxi and drove away.

The man was white, had a shaved head, moustache, and was around 6ft tall and broad built.

He wore a brown leather jacket, blue jeans and suede boots.

Police said he had tattoos on both arms, one being of a female figure.

PC Chloe Burgess, who is investigating the attack, said: “This was a busy night in the Old Town and I’m sure there must have been witnesses to this assault.

I’d like to speak to anyone who saw what happened and I can be contacted on 0845 6070999.”
