Trio of thieves steal glasses frames

THIEVES walked into an opticians and stole £1,000 worth of glasses frames.

Two men, together with a woman, took the items from Specsavers in Priory Meadow on Wednesday, May 4 at around 1.30pm.

The woman distracted staff while her accomplices stole Animal and Osiris spectacle frames.

Police said the woman was in her mid-20s, white and had blonde hair. She wore a top with a floral pattern on it, jeans and was carrying a shoulder bag.

The first man was white, also in his mid 20s, and had short crew cut hair.

He wore a dark blue tracksuit top, white t-shirt and jeans with trainers.

His accomplice was white and similarly aged, with a slight beard. He had long hair tied in a ponytail, wore a grey hooded top, dark jogging bottoms and trainers.
