Teenager attacked by gang

A TEENAGER was attacked by a gang of men in the early hours of Sunday (September 9) after a night out in Hastings.

The victim, an 18-year-old man, was walking home along St Helen’s Road at 2am when he was set upon by a group of eight other men.

The group are described as being aged between 18 and 20. One of the men was white, believed to be around 18, 6ft tall, slim and wearing a black baseball cap.

A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: “Several cars stopped to help the victim and we want to appeal to anyone who saw this group of men. Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting serial 993 of 10/9. Or alternatively the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
