A TEENAGER stole games consoles and other electrical goods from a St Leonards flat.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, broke into the property in Warrior Square on November 5 before stealing a Playstation 3, two Playstation games, a PSP console, digital camera, a watch and two mobile phones. The items were worth more than £1,600 in total.

Four days later the teenager broke into another flat in Warrior Square and took a Nintendo Wii console, a number of games, Xbox games and some DVDs, worth almost £700 in total.

He appeared before Hastings magistrates on Friday and pleaded guilty to the two charges of burglary.

Magistrates adjourned the case until December 30 so pre-sentence reports can be prepared.
