St Leonards house targeted by two males with ‘gas powered firearm’

At about 3.30am on Saturday (May 2), officers received a report of a disturbance at a house in Jubilee Gardens.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Enquiries established that for reasons unknown, two males – possibly teenagers or young men – have targeted this one address using what is believed to be an imitation or gas powered firearm.

“Police engaged with the occupants of the sole property targeted to carry out a welfare check and have increased patrols in the area. No injuries were reported and no damage was caused.

“This is being treated as an isolated incident and there is nothing to suggest there is any threat to the wider community at this stage.”
