Revealed: Violent crime in Hastings doubles in five years

Violent crime levels in Hastings have more than doubled in the past five years, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

The data, which analyse crime levels per 1,000 people, found a 118.86 per cent increase in recorded crime described as violent between 2012 and 2017 – above the national average increase of 78.58 per cent.
