Police involved as fake IDs seized at Hastings Wetherspoons

Police were called to Wetherspoons, in Hastings, after fake IDs were seized from two males.

A police spokesman said the incident happened over the weekend.

After being alerted by staff, Hastings PCSOs attended the venue but the males had already left, Hastings Police said.

They praised the staff at Wetherspoons for spotting the fake IDs.

Police said they were seized and handed to the officers, along with details of the two males.

A Hastings Police spokesman added: “Be aware it is an offence to use fake IDs.”
