Police investigating burglary at Hastings business

Police are appealing for information after a till, containing a small amount of cash, was stolen from a Hastings florist.

Officers were called at around 7.50am on Tuesday (February 16) to reports of a burglary at Mount Pleasant Flowers, in Mount Pleasant Road, Hastings.

Police said a till containing a small quantity of cash was taken from inside, and damage was caused to the premises.

Anyone who saw what happened, or who saw any suspicious activity in the vicinity between 5pm on Monday (February 15) and 7am on Tuesday, is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 154 of 16/02.
