Police cordoned off an area in Hastings town centre yesterday afternoon (January 30).

Officers sealed off an area outside Sports Direct in Wellington Place and the A2101 Albert Road.

They have not so far confirmed any details of the incident.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police has been contacted for more information.
