Police appeal for stolen mobile phone in Hastings bar


Police are appealing for information concerning the theft of a mobile phone in Porters wine bar in Hastings at around 6.30pm on Sunday, July 19.

Enquiries have led to two suspects now being sought - both white women aged 30-40 - who were believed to have been at the Old Town bar when the theft occurred.

One was 5’7”, of slim build and with blonde hair.

She was wearing a blue flowery dress and had a sleeve tattoo on her left arm.

The other was 5’6”, also of slim build and with shoulder-length brown hair.

She was wearing a striped blue-and-white top and white jeans.

The missing mobile phone is a black Sony xPeria Z3 worth £400. Its owner had placed it on the bar counter shortly before it disappeared.

Any witness or anyone with information is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101 quoting serial 1689 of 20/8.

Alternatively, they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers without having to leave a name on 0800 555 111.
