Motorbike thieves strike in Hastings

SEVERAL motorbikes were targeted by thieves recently..

A Sukida 125cc bike was taken from Wellington Square on Monday afternoon (August 1) between 3pm and 6pm.

Thieves struck again overnight in Rock-a-Nore Road, taking a blue Aprilia Habana bike between 9pm on Monday and 5am on Tuesday (August 2).

During the same night they stole a Honda NTV650 motorcycle between 11pm and 2am in North Terrace.

And again, overnight between Monday and Tuesday, four litres of unleaded fuel were siphoned from a Honda CG125 bike in Park Way.

Police said this happened between 7pm and 6.20am the next day.

PC Duncan Cleverley, of Hastings Police, said: “The thieves seem to have targeted these small capacity motorcycles. We would like to hear from anyone who has information about where these bikes have gone.
