A FRENCH suspected drug dealer who police are hunting has made a list of the county’s most wanted criminals.

Crimestoppers has launched a new website which will list the people Sussex Police most want to trace along with pictures and details of their alleged offences.

One of those added to the list was Frederic Lezziero, formerly of South Terrace, who was arrested over half a kilogram of cannabis discovered when a car was searched in October. He was bailed while the drugs were sent away for tests, but failed to return to Hastings Police Station, and now officers are asking for eagle-eyed members of the public to let them know here he is.

Kathy Burke, chairman of Sussex Crimestoppers, said: “The Most Wanted website has been most successful nationally in helping to catch a criminal every other day. I am delighted that it is now going to feature criminals wanted in Sussex.

“It offers the public another opportunity to take a stand against crime. It not only helps locate criminals who have ‘gone to ground’ but also identifies people previously unknown to the police.

“It’s a simple but extremely effective, and is going to be an invaluable tool in helping bring criminals to justice,” she added.

The site can be viewed at www.crimestoppers-uk.org/in-your-area/south-east/sussex and anyone who knows where Lezziero is can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or Sussex Police on 0845 6070999.
