Police are concerned for the welfare of missing 13-year-old Jordan Cooper and her mum Jennifer Atkinson, both from Hastings.
Jordan was last seen with her mum Jennifer in Hastings around midday on Monday (September 14).
They are believed to still be in the Hastings or Battle area or they have may have travelled to the Isle of Wight or Hampshire.
Sergeant Lynda Lynch said: “We believe that Jordan and her mum are together, however her mum is also very vulnerable and is in a wheelchair.
“We are appealing to them to get in touch so we know they are okay.
“This is out of character for them both and Jordan is missing school.”
Jordan is described as white, 5’ and of slim build with straight brown shoulder-length hair.
It is not known what she was last seen wearing but she usually dresses casually in jeans, leggings or jogging bottoms.
Jennifer is described as 5’ 5” with brown collar length hair.
