Sussex Police has renewed its appeal for information about missing Hastings man Karl Bunster, extending enquiries to Kent, Devon and Scotland.

Karl, 37, was due to appear before Hastings magistrates on December 30 to face two charges of assault by beating.

However, he failed to show up and police are concerned as he has not been seen since before Christmas.

Detective Inspector Gavin Patch said: “This is a little unusual, but the circumstances of his non-appearance in court and that he has not been seen by family and friends since before Christmas have raised worries and we are concerned for his welfare.”

Anyone who knows of his whereabouts can contact Sussex Police by emailing 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or calling 101 (Sussex) quoting serial 1715 of 15/07.

Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
