Man ‘robbed at knifepoint’ in Forest Row

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Forest Row.

Sussex Police said at 9.25am on Monday (July 13), the victim - a delivery driver - was approached by a man in Freshfield Bank.

The man allegedly threatened the victim with a knife before taking the keys to his white Ford transit van and driving off in it.

The victim was not injured.

Detective Constable Joanne Lane said: “We’re appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or may have been driving past the area at the time and captured dash-cam footage to please come forward and assist with our enquiries.”

The suspect is described white skinned with a slim face, 5ft 10in, with short dark brown hair with a side fade and was wearing a grey t-shirt.
