Man in his 40s sustains ‘significant facial injuries’ after reported knuckleduster assault in East Sussex

Sussex Police are appealing for information after a man in his 40s was assaulted in East Sussex.

Police said the victim was approached by an unknown man on June 22, at around 3am while stood outside 'Seaside Kebab' in Kings Road near the Queens Hotel in Brighton.

A knuckleduster or similar weapon was believed to have been used to assault the victim, causing ‘significant facial injuries’, Sussex Police added.
