Man, 34 stabbed in back by gang

A GANG attacked a man by stabbing him several times. The 34-year-old was rushed to the Conquest Hospital with wounds to his back, chest and knee after he was set upon by four men at a house in Manor Road last Thursday evening (May 19). Police said the victim remains in a stable condition.

Two local men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and have been bailed by police to return to speak to them at a later date.

Detective Inspector Emma Heater, from Hastings CID, said: “This is an isolated but serious incident that happened within a private address. We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information as to the identity of the other three offenders. Call Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999 quoting Operation Float.”
