Kent Police looking for wanted man in Hastings

POLICE in a neighbouring county are appealing for information about the whereabouts of a wanted man, who is believed to be in Hastings.

Raymond Atkins, 39, is an inmate at Blantyre House Prison in Goudhurst, Kent.

He was given home leave for family reasons but breached the conditions of his licence by not staying in the hostel allocated to him in Brighton.

His status was reported to police during June and he remains unlawfully at large.

Atkins was last known to be in St Georges Road, Hastings, on Saturday (June 30) at 4.45pm.

He is described as white, of medium build, 5ft 8ins tall with brown eyes and dark cropped hair. He has piercings in his left ear.

If anyone has seen Atkins or has information as to his whereabouts, contact Sussex Police on 101.

Members of the public are advised not to approach him.
