Busy area in Eastbourne taped off for forensic analysis after assault
Police taped off the area outside of a shop in Eastbourne for forensic analysis after they received reports of an assault yesterday (Thursday).

One on-duty police car and one undercover car attended the incident just outside Premier shop in Seaside at around 8.25pm.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said, “At about 8.25pm on February 27, police received a third-party report of an assault in Seaside. Officers attended and located the victim, a local man in his 30s, who had sustained hand and leg injuries. The scene was secured for forensics analysis.
“No suspects have been identified at this stage and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone who saw what happened can report it online or call 101, quoting serial 1391 of 27/02.”
