This started on Monday and is calling at the Southampton Boat Show tomorrow and arriving in Cowes on Saturday.

Claire has sailed with the trust during her recovery from Hodgkins lymphoma and knows what to expect from the sailing experience.

She said: "I'm really looking forward to sailing onboard Scarlet Oyster, being out on the water away from everything, and spending time with my friends."

The voyage on the 48ft boat began in Cowes on May 3, and has involved 85 young people. It stops at 17 ports in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Claire is on board with three other young people who have sailed with the trust and have recovered from various forms of cancer and leukaemia.

The trust was set up by Ellen McArthur to inspire young people's cancer recovery through sailing.

The famous yachtswoman took part in several of the legs.
