COUNTY NEWS: Security alert at London Bridge causes major disruption on the rails

The closure of London Bridge railway station has led to major disruption on Southern services this afternoon (March 7).

Passengers using the Brighton Mainline were urged to use services from London Victoria this afternoon, as no trains were running from London Bridge.

However the station reopened just before 4pm.

A Southern spokesman said: “London Bridge station has now reopened. However, services are subject to delay, alteration and possible cancellation as we restore services to normal.
