Council seats could be at stake over housing plans
ANGMERING residents were urged to show what they think of the development plans at the ballot box.
Parish councillor Colin Trott told the meeting, on Monday, January 13: “This development is not wanted. It’s not needed. Arun has lost over 5,000 jobs in the past ten years. Building new houses is not going to create any jobs.
“The next Arun District Council elections are in May next year. If Arun does let this development go ahead, make your feelings known at the ballot box and get rid of them.”
