THESE two girls had a purr-fect time visiting the annual summer fete at the Conquest Hospital.
Lily and Grace Humphries got their faces painted to look like moggies and were just two of the scores of people who came to the event hosted by the hospital’s Friends on Saturday.
Another visitor was Hastings MP Amber Rudd, who opened the fete.
Margaret Williams, chairman of the Friends of the Conquest, said: “Our main attraction were the extremely popular 1066 Rockitmen playing music from the 50s to the present day.
“Although the heavens opened after just a short time nearly £3,000 was raised.”
There were demonstrations by 1066 Gymnastics Academy, Fusion Street Dance, as well as the Bexhill 100 Motoring Club.
Mrs Williams said: “Thanks must go to all the sponsors and the volunteers who gave so much of their free time.”
The Friends regularly hold fundraising activities to raise cash to buy hospital equipment.
