Derrick, Joan’s husband continues to support St Michael’s Hospice as well as Macmillan nurses by selling his homemade cakes and pies. And has raised in excess of £2,000.

Connie’s mum Claire said: “We are so proud of her. Connie wanted to continue to show her appreciation of what the wonderful hospice did to support her Grandma. Last year Connie made necklaces and bracelets to sell and raised £66.”

St Michael’s Hospice is trying to raise funds after a devastating fire earlier this year damaged part of its St Leonards building.
