Classic cars to fuel fun for Angmering display

PETROL-HEADS will be making a beeline for Angmering later this month, as dozens of classic motors go on display in the village.

On Sunday, August 18, the Southern Classics Society will once again be staging its Classic Car Show.

The event will take place at the Worthing Rugby Club, in Roundstone Lane.

Plenty of cars, from classic Fords to Rolls-Royces, are set to make an appearance.

Those wishing to display their prized motors can do so. It costs £5 for non-members to showcase their beloved vehicles.

However, for adults wishing to just swing by and admire all the cars on display, the price is only £2, with under-17s going free.

Prizes will be awarded for the best car in show. There will also be a range of food and refreshments, from the event’s licensed bar, on offer during the day.

Entertainment has also been lined up for children attending the show, which takes place from 10am-4pm.
