Vicar of Blacklands, Charlie Hill, commented after the event: “I am very grateful that Bishop Richard has come to Blacklands, for the third time this year, to lead this very special celebration, where local people have publicly confirmed their faith in Jesus, with a bit of Anglican razzmatazz.”

“If any readers of the Observer want to know more about baptism or confirmation I know they would be very welcome to get in touch with their nearest church. They can also call us at Christ Church on on 01424 576 047 or find out more about us from our website www.blacklands-parish.co.uk.”
