Children at Stagecoach Theatre School in Hastings are putting on their dancing shoes for a national competition to choreograph a dance routine to the We are Monster High anthem.
Each of the participating schools will be competing for the chance to win a prize of having their dance routine professionally filmed and published on the Monster High official website.
Monster High follows the lives of the teenage children of history’s greatest monsters including the fierce Frankie Stein (daughter of the infamous Frankenstein’s Monster) and Deuce Gorgon, son of Medusa who, like his mother, has snakes for hair but manages to style them into his own fabulous signature snake-hawk.
Mattel’s Denise Fallary said: “We are very excited to be working with Stagecoach. Not only do they share Monster High’s value of celebrating your individuality, but we feel its students are more than capable of taking on the We Are Monster High Challenge. The competition invites current and new fans to fly their freaky-fab flags and show their ghoul spirit, and we hope that many more will also have a go at creating their own performance to the song.”
The winning school will be announced on November 15.
