Charity Sale at St Martha's Church

THERE was no sign of the credit crunch in Little Common on Saturday, with many local people actively supporting the variety of charitable events which were happening in the village throughout the day.

St Martha's Church hosted a popular charity fayre, which saw a variety of charities joining together to raise funds for each individual cause.

Organiser, Frances Winterborn, of Bexhill Based charity, 'Friends of the Elderly', said this annual event, which is sponsored by the Liberal Democrats, always receives the support of local residents.
