THE Oliver Curd Trust has presented a new ECG machine to staff at the children’s ward at the Conquest Hospital.

The charity is named after Oliver Curd, who spent time on Kipling ward while being treated for an Ewings sarcoma. He lost his battle against cancer five years ago, aged only nine. Trustees went to the ward last week along with the trust’s mascot, Dolly the Dolphin to present the machine.
