Well here’s your opportunity? The Observer is working with the crime commissioner’s office to give its readers an opportunity to question those responsible for policing our towns and streets.

You can join the “Police and Crime Community Conversation” at a special event in Eastbourne to be chaired by Hastings Observer Editor-in-Chief, Keith Ridley, in the Gold Room at the Winter Garden on December 9.

Also joining the panel will be Christina Ewbank, chief executive of Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce.

The debate is one of a series to be held across Sussex to enable people to meet their police chiefs and debate the policing, crime anti-social behaviour and community issues that affect them.
