Local charity Hope Kitchen is marking it’s tenth anniversary with a Celebration Service at Wellington Square Baptist Church on Sunday, November 15 at 3pm.

Hope Kitchen, which is based at Wellington Square Baptist church, Hastings, is a soup kitchen that helps feed the homeless and hungry residents of Hastings.

As demand for it’s services increase, chairman of the charity, Mike Cooper says he hopes many will join in the celebrations, held to mark ten years since Hope Kitchen was founded.

“The mayor and deputy mayor, among others, are coming to the service,” he said.

“It is open to anyone and we are hoping that many of those who attend Hope Kitchen as volunteers and guests will attend as well as other supporters.”

Refreshments will be served following the service.
