Cash box raid in Littlehampton town centre

The guard was carrying the box from his vehicle to the Lloyds TSB bank in Beach Road, at the time of the theft, around 11.15am.

He was uninjured and no weapons were used.

Two suspects were seen making their getaway on a motorcycle or moped. The men are both described as black.

One of them had a goatee/beard and was wearing a coat with the hood up.

Both were wearing baseball caps.

Any witnesses to the incident or anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time is asked to call 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 551 of April 24.
